Matt Lambert joins MacDonald-Miller as vice president, construction services, to lead project development, precon, estimating, and delivery.

Matt Lambert, a longtime general contractor executive, joins as vice president of construction services to strengthen how MacDonald-Miller delivers projects and partners with the general contractors it builds alongside every day. In this new role, he will oversee construction development, pre-construction services, and project delivery.

Lambert spent 18 years at Howard S. Wright, where he and MacDonald-Miller delivered City Center Plaza, Microsoft B87, and the Microsoft Redmond Campus Modernization program together. Most recently, he spent five years at Dycom Industries as a vice president leading development and operations across multiple Dycom companies. He succeeds Bret Lovely, a 38-year MacDonald-Miller construction leader who retires at the end of 2026.

Over his career, Lambert has led project teams on complex construction work and built deep experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. During trade selection, he became one of MacDonald-Miller’s strongest advocates.

“There is one mechanical contractor that stands above all others in the Pacific Northwest, especially when it comes to tackling complex projects, and that is MacDonald-Miller,” said Lambert.

“Matt knows our teams, our work, and our customers from the other side of the table, and he knows firsthand the value MacDonald-Miller delivers on even the most demanding projects,” said Ruben Cañas, MacDonald-Miller’s president of construction. “His general contracting perspective, coupled with his expertise in developing people, makes him the right leader to grow our construction business.”
